Only 42% of New York City residents give city schools a positive review, according to a Marist Poll released this afternoon.

Only 42% of New York City residents give city schools a positive review, according to a Marist Poll released this afternoon.
The poll, which was done in conjunction with the Dyson Foundation, surveyed 4,500 state residents and focused largely on statewide attitudes toward government consolidation. However, the survey also polled the views of city residents toward their existing government, which is largely consolidated.
