A new survey finds more than half of New Yorkers believe the state is headed in the wrong direction.
That’s according to the latest Marist Poll. The survey found 53 percent of the 4,500 New Yorkers surveyed are not pleased with the state’s direction; 54 percent living outside of New York City think there are too many local governments; and yet 85 percent give their own local governments average or above average grades.
